Head of Public Relations Europe Bentley Motors, the prestige car manufacturer located in the heart of Cheshire, is recruiting a first-class Head of European Public Relations, for a period of up to 12 months.

The role oversees two regional PR Managers and is responsible for leading PR and communications strategy across Europe, managing a wide range of international, national, and dealer PR activities to secure excellent coverage in the automotive, lifestyle & business media.

The Head of PR – Europe has specific responsibility for overseeing the German market. Reporting into the Communications Director, you will work closely with the PR and Marketing teams, defining key markets and target media and coordinating product strategy for the European market.

Other responsibilities will include managing key media and automotive launch events, directing local PR agencies, and overseeing the PR budget within Europe. With a relevant, degree-level qualification, the ideal candidate will be a fluent German speaker with European/International automotive or luxury goods experience in a management level position.

You will also demonstrate a track record in shifting brand perception and the ability to translate marketing initiatives into innovative PR opportunities. Event and agency management experience is expected, along with a proven ability to sell concepts, business plans and project proposals to senior leaders. Creative thinking and problem solving is essential and broader communications and marketing experience would be a distinct advantage.
