Exciting opportunity exists for an experienced senior consumer PR professional to join award winning PR Agency as group account director and member of the Board. This well regarded agency produce campaigns for household brands for both national and regional programmes for consumer clients including some of the UK’s best known retailers.

The successful candidate will be potential board member and shape the future direction of the agency . The will help to lead and develop the team, set targets and drive business forward. You should be able to demonstrate ability to work at senior level, influence and advise clients, often during times of crisis when their brand reputation is on the line. Along with this there should be a strong consumer or retail knowledge base as well as established contacts with the relevant national and regional journalists.

 

In terms of the person, some one who is resilient, tenacious and smart – ideally a strategic thinker who still enjoys rolling up sleeves and getting involved in the tactical delivery. Will be involved in all aspects from pitching for new business to delivery campaigns. The ideal candidate will come from a large agency background working with well known consumer clients but will also consider clients with excellent in-house experience who can demonstrate ability to successful shift to being an agency consultant.
