Working alongside global media owners, our client offers a platform-as-a-service for magazines and newspapers who are looking to make their content available across all emerging browser, smartphone and tablet environments. Having already developed the platform for iOS they partnered with Microsoft to be the first company globally to develop magazine applications for Windows 8. Current and future products include working alongside Microsoft, Amazon, Mozilla and Google to create intelligent, powerful and complex applications that will remain constantly under development. Based just around the corner from Farringdon Station you will join this innovative, dynamic and fast growing business as a Java Developer / Android Developer developing and testing applications from inception to market.

To qualify... We are seeking a solid Java Developer / Mobile App Developer with skills/experience that covers all or most of the following:

• Android Development.

• Experience developing for tablets

• Background processes.

• PDF rendering.

• RESTful web services & 3rd-party API integration.

• In-app purchasing.

Any exposure to iOS development, web development (PHP, HTML), SQL, JavaScript, Linux Server Administration or Cloud Services would be an advantage and you will be part of a truly ground breaking online venture which offers a diverse and varied working environment, where your input will have a massive impact into the success of high profile, public projects.
