The Investor Relations Society released the shortlist for its Best Practice Awards to be distributed at the Society’s Annual Dinner on 20 November.

BAE’s annual report stood out, getting nods in both the communication of strategy and governance categories for an annual report. British Land, BASF, Turkcell and Trifast were also lauded for their use of website and overall effective of their annual reports.

The awards are in their 11th year and celebrate corporate best practice in investor communications. This year’s edition of the awards features six new awards for individual achievement in IR as voted on by industry peers.

Financial services consultant Wolters Kluwer took home last year’s most effective annual report in the international company.

Last week’s IVCA Clarion Awards celebrated CSR and corporate ethics while the Corporate Engagement Awards took place on 17 September honouring the best in corporate sponsorship and philanthropy.
